2015 BMW i8, finished in Protonic Blue and Frozen Grey with a Metallic Red wrap and an Amido Black full leather interior. Optional equipment on this i8 includes the Giga World Package, which consists of 20-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights with cornering ability. The car also features a Giga World interior with heated front seats, a larger capacity fuel tank, Active Driving Assistant, Park Distance Control, a head-up display, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and more as listed below.This i8 has been modified with a metallic red exterior wrap and orange inserts on the BMW roundels.The Benoit Jacob-designed BMW i8 was introduced for the 2014 model year and marketed as a part of BMW's "i" electric fleet. The hybrid electric car comes equipped with aluminum butterfly doors and a brake energy recuperation system.Power comes from a hybrid system featuring a mid-mounted turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-3 combined with an electric motor to produce 357 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The gas engine sends power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission and the electric motor drives the front wheels with a 2-speed transmission.
