2002 Land Rover Discovery II SD, finished in dark green with a tan leather interior. Factory equipment on this Disco includes 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, Hill Descent Control, and more as detailed below. Modifications are limited to the rear air suspension being replaced with coil springs. The Discovery Series II is the last Land Rover model to utilize the underpinnings of the 1970 Range Rover. The Discovery II has a reported "720 differences" from Series I, according to Land Rover. The Series I and II only share rear door skins; every other exterior panel is altered. Discovery II has six more inches of length than the Series I with all extra length being added to the cargo area.Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8, which produces 190 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system with a 2-speed transfer case.
