The engine underwent a rebuild several years ago and has since covered 18,000 miles. Recent enhancements include a new Holley 2 barrel carburetor, Protonix ignition & coil, a refurbished generator & starter, and newly installed king pins and bushings in the front suspension. Additionally, the installation of power brakes was a crucial update to enhance safety during braking. The braking system from 1960 isn't quite up to the task of handling the demands of 2024 driving conditions, where the ability to stop promptly, rather than 100 yards further, is essential.
