2007 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, finished in Designo Mystic White with a Designo Porcelain and Black leather interior. Factory equipment on this SL55 AMG includes a power-retractable hard top with a glass panoramic roof, AMG bumpers and side skirts, an AMG rear spoiler, carbon fiber interior trim, a Harmon/Kardon surround-sound system, and more as listed below. Modifications are limited to 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with a set of factory center caps, and white paint on the hood and fender vents.Celebrated as the latest in a long line of SL roadsters, the R230-generation model went on sale for the 2002 model year. It was the first SL to feature a folding metal hard top that provides coupe-like insulation from road noise and the weather. The SL55 was the first full AMG version of the SL made available in the United States.For the 2007 model year the SL55 was given a facelift that included revisions to the front bumper, the grille, and the rear lights. The engine was also improved with a larger throttle valve on the inlet manifold, updates to the fuel-injection system, and a more efficient supercharger, resulting in a bump in output of 17 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque over the previous year's model.Power for this SL55 AMG comes from the "M113" 5.4-liter supercharged V8, which produces 510 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
