1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper, finished in Pastel White with a brown and grey interior. Modifications made to this Vanagon are detailed below and highlights include the addition of 15-inch OEM Volkswagen alloy wheels with new Falken tires, an H4 headlight conversion, a Land Rover Defender mirror conversion, billet alloy window crank handles, an aftermarket sound system, and aftermarket seat upholstery.The Vanagon was the North American name for Volkswagen's third generation of the Transporter, which was called the T3 internally. The T3 featured more angular styling than the previous T2 model and was equipped with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine from 1979 to 1983, with water-cooled engines being offered in later models.The "Westfalia" model came with a pop-top roof that housed a fold-out bed as well as a rear bench seat that converted to a bed, and a kitchen that included a refrigerator, stainless steel sink, and a two-burner stainless steel stove.Power comes from an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat-4, which produces 70 horsepower. The engine utilizes Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.
