2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, finished in Steel Grey Metallic wrapped in matte grey vinyl with a red and black Premium leather interior. This car is fitted with the AMG Performance Package, a $9,000 option that increases the engine's output by 27 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque, adds red brake calipers, and increases the top-speed limited from 155 to 186 mph.This SL63 is also equipped with the Premium 1 Package and the Driver Assistance Package, which add items including Distronic Plus, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind-Spot Assist, Airscarf, active multi-contour seats, and more. Modifications are limited to the matte wrap and tinted taillights.In the sixth-generation R231 SL roadster, the AMG models utilized aluminum and carbon-fiber bodywork. The SL63 AMG saw the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 replaced with a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter, which in standard form made 530 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Other AMG special equipment included a 7-speed Speedshift M-DCT transmission with Race Start function, AMG high-performance compound disc brakes with six-piston front calipers, and an AMG sports exhaust system.Power comes from a hand-built 5.5-liter "M157" BiTurbo V8, which makes 557 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed M-DCT automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential.
