Equipment on this 987 includes heated front seats, bi-xenon headlights, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and the Sound Package Plus, among other features.Modifications are limited to an upgraded aftermarket Sony stereo head unit that features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.The second-generation 987 Porsche Boxster was introduced in the 2005 model year and featured revised styling with modified headlights, larger side intake vents, and enlarged wheel arches to allow wheels up to 19 inches in diameter. Interior revisions included a more prominent circular theme for the instrument cluster and cooling vents. Power comes from a 2.7-liter flat 6-cylinder engine, which produces 236 horsepower and 201 lb-feet of torque. This powerplant is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which spins the rear wheels.
