1990 Jeep Wrangler Islander, finished in Malibu Yellow with a gray vinyl interior. This YJ Wrangler is equipped with the Islander appearance package, which added to the base Wrangler special graphics, bodyside steps, and unique cloth upholstery. Additional features include full doors with roll-up windows, a gray hardtop with a rear wiper, and a stock cassette stereo system. According to the seller, this Wrangler has new 31-inch ProComp A/T Sport tires mounted on 15-inch black steel wheels. The square headlight YJ Wrangler was introduced for the 1987 model year and stayed in production until 1985. It was a major evolution over the military-derived CJ, though its solid axles and leaf springs retained a tough feel and serious off-road ability. Power comes from a Weber-carbureted AMC 4.2-liter inline-6, which produces 112 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A 5-speed AX-15 manual gearbox and a 2-speed transfer case deliver power to the rear or all four wheels.
