1986 Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup, finished in red and white with a gray interior. This is a left-hand-drive truck that was reportedly imported from Venezuela in June 2022. Modifications reported by the selling dealer include a Smittybilt winch, plus heater and air conditioning systems. Factory equipment includes 15-inch steel wheels, manually-locking front hubs, and power steering.Toyota released the 40-Series Land Cruiser in 1960. Designed to replace the 20-Series model, the 40-Series played a significant role in establishing the Land Cruiser's reputation as a tough, go-anywhere off-roader. It was available in numerous configurations, including short- and long-wheelbase models, and it sold spectacularly well: Toyota built the millionth Land Cruiser in 1980. FJ40 sales in the United States ended in 1983, but the model remained in production abroad until 2001, most notably as the Bandeirante model in Brazil.The FJ45 models were the long wheelbase variant of the 40-Series offered in long and short bed pickup forms as well as a 4-door wagon. The FJ45 was only sold in the U.S for the 1963 to 1967 model years, but production continued for other markets until June 1986.Power comes from a 4.2-liter "2F" straight-6, rated at about 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear or the four wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
