2000 Honda S2000, finished in Silverstone Metallic with a black soft top and a black and red interior. This S2000 is equipped with 16-inch wheels, HID headlights, leather upholstery, and air conditioning, among other features. Modifications reported by the seller include a Billman Motion GenX timing chain tensioner, black paint on the wheels, an aftermarket soft top with a glass rear window, and an aftermarket head unit. The intake and exhaust valve keepers and retainers were notably replaced with newer units from an AP2 at 86,280 miles in May 2020. Honda introduced the S2000 for the 2000 model year to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Available only as a convertible, it offered a near-50/50 weight distribution thanks in part to an engine mounted entirely behind the front axle. Honda called the original S2000 "AP1" internally; it released an updated model called "AP2" for the 2004 model year.Power comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, rated at 240 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
