2002 Mercedes-Benz E430, finished in Quartz Silver Metallic with an Ash interior. This E430 is a final-year Special Edition model. The Special Edition was a no-cost value-added package that bundled 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, a glass sunroof, rain sensor, xenon headlamps with washers, and Special Edition floor mats. It was available in two color combinations, Quartz Silver Metallic with an Ash interior, like this one, or Obsidian Black Metallic with an Oyster interior. Both versions came with black birdseye maple interior trim.Modifications to this E430 are limited to a set of replica 17-inch AMG monoblock wheels, aftermarket headlights, and tinted windows.Mercedes-Benz introduced the "W210"-generation E-Class for the 1996 model year as a replacement for the "W124." It looked nothing like its predecessor thanks to a more rounded silhouette and oval headlights, and its redesigned front suspension system improved comfort without sacrificing handling. Production continued until its successor, the "W211" E-Class, was released for the 2003 model year.Power comes from an "M113" 4.3-liter V8, rated at 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
