1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL, finished in Cabernet Red Metallic with a body-colored hardtop, a black soft top, and a gray interior. Factory equipment includes 15-inch chrome wheels, fog lights, leather upholstery, wood interior trim, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Modifications are limited to the installation of a Kenwood head unit and rebuilt front seats with new upholstery. Mercedes-Benz introduced the R107-generation SL for the 1972 model year, and the roadster remained part of its range through 1991. It received several visual and mechanical updates during its unusually long production run. Launched for 1986, the 560 SL was the ultimate mechanical evolution of the regular production R107.Power comes from a 5.5-liter V8, rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. Called "M117" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
