2015 Chevrolet SS, finished in Perfect Blue Metallic with a Jet Black interior. This SS features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. A partial list of notable equipment includes 19-inch wheels, a limited-slip differential, Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, HID headlights, a rear spoiler, parking sensors, a power sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, a head-up display, a MyLink infotainment system with navigation capabilities, and a Bose audio system.Modifications to this SS include Kooks headers, downpipes, and catalytic converters, Varex mufflers, a RotoFab intake, a Livernois ECU tune, PVD-coated wheels, and tinted windows.Chevrolet enlisted the help of Australian sister company Holden to release the SS for the 2014 model year. Closely related to the Commodore, the SS picked up where the Impala SS left off in 1996 with a naturally-aspirated V8, a rear-wheel-drive architecture, and a spacious interior. It was marketed as a subtle four-door muscle car that put a decidedly American spin on the concept of a sport sedan.Power comes from an "LS3" 6.2-liter V8 engine, rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this SS, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
