This Pajero's factory-fitted "4G54" 4-cylinder engine was replaced by a 3.0-liter V6 from a newer Pajero, according to the seller. The list of modifications also includes a stitched cover on the steering wheel, an iGauge coolant temperature gauge, and a Sony CD player.The first-generation Pajero was launched in 1982 and was immediately lauded by the automotive press for its toughness, capability, and reliability.
