1985 Chrysler Laser XE Turbo, finished in gold with a tan interior. This Laser is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, a digital instrument panel, air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the seller include rear window louvers, window tint, a manual boost controller, and an AutoMeter auxiliary boost gauge.Known as Chrysler's first sports car, the Laser went on sale in 1984 as an upscale version of the Dodge Daytona. Offered in three different trim levels with both automatic and manual transmissions, the Laser was not only luxurious, but capable, thanks to its turbocharged engine and relatively light curb weight. Production ended in 1986.Power comes from a 2.2-liter inline-4, rated at approximately 146 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
