This 190D is equipped with 15-inch wheels, European-spec lights on both ends, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, and a cassette player, among other features.Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a K&N engine air filter and an aftermarket antenna. The factory antenna is included in the sale.Called W201 internally, and colloquially known as the Baby Benz, the Mercedes-Benz 190 arrived in the United States for the 1984 model year. It was the smallest and cheapest member of the company's line-up, but it nonetheless offered a wide selection of features and the comfort buyers expected from a Mercedes-Benz. 4- and 6-cylinder models were available until the 190 retired in 1993. It was replaced by the original C-Class.Mercedes-Benz only made the turbocharged 190D available in the United States for the 1987 model year. It was offered for much longer in overseas markets.Power for this 190D comes from a 2.5-liter turbodiesel 5-cylinder engine, rated at 125 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Called "OM602" internally, and shared with the W124, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
