1997 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, finished in white with a gray interior. Factory equipment includes a roof rack, running boards, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a folding rear seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power door locks, power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control.Modifications are limited to 16-inch GMT800 wheels, a black Chevrolet grille badge, and an aftermarket Alpine head unit.The Chevrolet Tahoe started life as the third-generation Blazer. Based on the "GMT400" platform, it was initially available only with two doors and positioned as a smaller alternative to the Suburban. Like Ford, Chevrolet sensed the market was shifting towards more family-friendly SUVs so it made the Blazer available with rear doors and renamed it Tahoe for 1995. The new designation also brought an updated exterior design, among other changes.Power comes from a 5.7-liter "Vortec" V8 engine, rated at 255 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed 4WD transfer case.
