Finished in Zinnoberrot with a beige leather interior. This M3 has been with its current owner since 1995, and the seller states it has largely been stored since 2009.The "S14B23" inline-4 was rebuilt by 3R's of Carson, California, in 2009, and approximately 1,200 miles have been added to its odometer since. Corresponding documentation is included in the photo gallery.Modifications made to this E30 are limited to a Dinan chip, a K&N air filter, and an aftermarket audio system.The E30 M3 was intended to be a race homologation special for DTM Group A competition. It was so well-received that more than three times the number needed for racing homologation were eventually assembled. The M3 differed from the standard E30 3-Series in its styling, flattened rear window, composite trunk lid, and spoiler, in addition of course to its revised suspension and high-revving S14 engine. Power comes from a 2.3-liter S14B23 inline-4 engine, which produces 192 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this BMW, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
