1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL, finished in Smoke Silver Metallic with a Creme Beige interior. This sedan's odometer displays about 78,800 miles. The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this 300SEL cost $58,515 new (about $129,500 in 2022). Factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, headlight wipers, a sunroof, wood interior trim, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with a memory function, and air conditioning. The only modification reported by the selling dealer is a hardwired SS200 radar detector. Mercedes-Benz introduced the W126 for the 1981 model year, and it expanded the range during the 1980s. 6- and 8-cylinder models were offered, plus long- and short-wheelbase variants and a coupe called C126 internally. The 300SEL was released for 1988 to give buyers an alternative to the V8-powered 560SEL.
