1990 Honda CRX, finished in Space Gray Metallic with a blue and black interior. Substantially modified, this CRX was built with a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission but it's now powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder and a 5-speed manual. The long list of aftermarket parts installed on this car is below; it includes 84.5-mm Darton Sleeves added to increase displacement, several Endyn components, a water-to-air intercooler from HyTech, GSR camshafts, a Moroso oil pan, a custom-made 3-inch exhaust system, Skunk2 lower control arms, 11-inch brake rotors from a Volkswagen Corrado, 15-inch wheels from a 2000 Civic Si, a JDM front end front Password JDM, and Corbeau Forza front seats with racing harnesses. Available receipts totaling $37,987 and detailing many of the modifications made to this CRX since 2010 (including the racing seats, the body work, and the Endyn-built engine) are included in the gallery. Still nimble and affordable, it received a new-look exterior design that retained the original model's silhouette along with suspension improvements and more powerful engines. It remained in production until 1991, when it retired and left a hole in the Honda range that wasn't filled until the CR-Z arrived in 2011.Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The seller pegs its output at 400 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, but a dyno sheet is not available. It spins the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
