Fahrzeugbeschreibung

1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata, finished in blue with a black soft top and a black interior. Substantially modified, this Miata is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 sourced from a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and bolted to a 6-speed manual transmission from a 2002 Camaro Z28. The seller states he completed the swap in 2012 with a V8 Roadsters kit. Other modifications include a custom-made exhaust system, 15-inch 949 Racing wheels, Flyin' Miata braking and suspension components, and an aftermarket instrument cluster that displays the miles driven since the swap was finished. The full list of modifications is provided below.Mazda launched the original MX-5 Miata (called NA internally) for the 1998 model year. Years in the making, it picked up where British and Italian roadsters left off by offering enthusiasts nimble handling and an open-air driving experience at a relatively affordable price. The first Miata quickly attracted a cult following; demand far exceeded Mazda's initial expectations. Production ended in 1997, and the NA passed the torch to the "NB."Power for this Miata comes from a 5.3-liter Chevrolet "Vortec" V8, rated at 310 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery. Called "L33" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
