Fahrzeugbeschreibung

1997 BMW M3, finished in Estoril Blue Metallic with a black interior. This coupe is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Reportedly built for the 2016 SEMA show, this M3 is fitted with a VF Engineering supercharger kit, an Active Autowerke exhaust system after the catalytic converters, 18-inch Volk Racing TE37 wheels, an Air Lift Company 3P air suspension system, a Pandem USA wide-body kit, several DTM Fiberwerkz parts, and Sparco EVO QRT large racing front seats, among other aftermarket parts. More details about the modifications performed to this M3 are provided below, and some of the removed factory parts are shown in the gallery and included in the sale.BMW introduced the E36-generation M3 to the U.S. market as a coupe for the 1995 model year, and it expanded the range with a sedan and a convertible in 1997 and 1998, respectively. The second-generation M3 was bigger than its predecessor, the E30-based model, but it offered 6-cylinder power while retaining the engaging handling synonymous with the M3 nameplate.Power comes from a 3.2-liter supercharged straight-6, rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque when left stock. VF Engineering states that the modifications increase horsepower to about 330 at the wheels but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "S52" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
