Yes, you heard right, only 14 actual 1999 model year W140 chassis S600's were ever made. This one was the 3rd to the last off the production line on August 12, 1998, the final S600 being produced less a month later on August 21, 1998. For reference: June 30th of any given year is the official Mercedes-Benz model year cut off date. Any vehicle produced after June 30th becomes the following model year on title and certificate of origin. A truly refined Mercedes-Benz aficionado will understand the rarity of this vehicle. As such it will likely be headed to a private collection. The car itself is finished in classic "040" Black paint over a two tone black/grey nappa leather interior. It features burled walnut root wood trim effects throughout the cabin as well as the 600-series only alcantara suede leather headliner. This 600 also showcases additional leather and wood trim on the B-pillars, the dashboard and the rear deck. Heated seats front and rear, orthopedic seats as well as LCD screens in the headrests for the rear passengers. This 600 has been garage kept and only serviced with Mercedes-Benz OEM parts.
