2005 Cadillac XLR, finished in Black Raven with a Shale interior. This XLR is equipped with 18-inch wheels, a power-folding hard top, wood interior trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and a Bose sound system, among other features.Modifications reported by the seller include a hood from a supercharged XLR-V model, custom pinstripes on some of the exterior panels, and black Alcantara inserts in the seats.Service records shown in the gallery detail most of the repairs and maintenance performed on this XLR since 2007. The seller states it was last serviced in April 2021, when the engine oil and filter, the brake fluid, and the battery were changed. He performed this work himself.Released for 2003, the XLR brought Cadillac back to the roadster segment after a long hiatus. It was related to the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, and the two models were built in the same facility, but it arrived as a more cruising-oriented drop-top with a power-folding hard top and a "Northstar" V8 related to the unit that powered the STS. Production ended in 2009, and Cadillac has steered clear of the convertible segment since.Cadillac built about 15,460 units of the XLR, including 3,730 for the 2005 model year.Power for this XLR comes from a 4.6-liter "Northstar" V8, rated at 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
