2000 Honda Insight finished in silver with a gray cloth interior. This Insight is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a 5-speed manual transmission, idle-stop feature, regenerative braking, automatic climate control, and remote keyless entry, among other standard and optional equipment. The first generation Honda Insight was manufactured from 1999 to 2006. An efficiency-minded vehicle, Honda was able to achieve a 61 MPG highway EPA rating thanks in part to a lightweight aluminum body weighing in at just 1,887 pounds (depending on options). This was Honda's first vehicle with Integrated Motor Assist, Honda's hybrid technology. Power comes from a 1.0-liter inline-3 and a 10-kW electric motor, rated at a combined 73 horsepower and 91 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
