2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4x4, finished in black with a black interior. Toyota significantly bucked the industry's trend towards car-like crossovers and let the 4Runner keep its rugged body-on-frame construction, an architecture later shared with the FJ Cruiser. The 2006 model year received a slight facelift, which included projector beam headlights, a redesigned grille, and LED tail lights. Production ended in 2009.Power comes from a "2UZ-FE" 4.7-liter V8, rated at 260 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins all four wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel-drive system.
