1994 TVR Chimaera, finished in Starfire Mica Blue with a dark blue soft top and a gray and blue interior. This is a right-hand-drive, British-spec roadster that was reportedly imported from England in 2021. odometer shows about 61,000 miles.This Chimaera's factory-fitted 4.0-liter V8 was rebuilt with 4.6 liters of displacement in October 2017 by England-based JE Developments, according to an invoice pictured in the gallery. The list of modifications reported by the seller also includes a lightened flywheel, 17-inch SVE wheels, Bilstein front shocks, Gazzmatic International adjustable rear shocks, headlights from a Volkswagen Lupo, and a Blaupunkt Acapulco MP54 head unit. The factory wheels are shown in the gallery and included in the sale.England-based TVR launched the Chimaera in 1991 as a more comfortable evolution of the Griffith. The roadster remained quick and engaging to drive thanks to its Rover-derived V8 and its relatively light weight. Several evolutions of the Chimaera were released, including the HC (high compression), and production ended in 2003. About 6,000 units were built and none were officially sold in America.Power comes from a 4.6-liter V8, rated at 236 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque according to a dyno sheet shown in the gallery. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
