2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, finished in World Rally Blue Pearl with a black and blue interior. This WRX STI comes equipped with 17-inch BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, front and rear limited-slip differentials, a driver control center differential (DCCD), HID headlights, and Ecsaine upholstered front sport seats, and a leather-wrapped STI steering wheel, among others listed below.Modifications reported by the seller are extensive, and they include a Forced Performance FP Black turbocharger, a Tomei Expreme TI cat-back exhaust, Tomei headers, a COBB Tuning Accessport, the COBB Tuning Flex Fuel Package, BC Racing coilovers, a C-pillar strut bar, and a harness bar behind the front seats. Two years later, the STI version was introduced to North America, where it remains the highest-specification Subaru available.The WRX (World Rally eXperimental) STI gained rally-bred upgrades, including a more powerful engine, a firmer suspension, front and rear limited-slip differentials, and a more muscular design characterized by a functional hood scoop and a rear wing. It became an instant success, thanks in part to its rally-inspired handling and its turbocharged engine.Power comes from an “EJ257” 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4, rated at 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications increase those figures to 466 horsepower and 439 lb-ft at the wheels, respectively, according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
