2006 Honda S2000, finished in New Formula Red with a black interior. Factory equipment includes a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, 17-inch wheels, a Torsen limited-slip differential, double wishbone suspension, power-operated soft top, xenon HID headlamps, leather upholstery, a digital instrument cluster, power windows, mirrors, and locks, air conditioning, and more as detailed below. Some modifications have been made to this S2000 and highlights include a replacement acrylic soft top, upgraded engine valve seats and springs, a CNC Speedshop timing chain tensioner, aftermarket audio system, and titanium shift knob. Honda introduced the S2000 for the 2000 model year, and the updated model — called AP2 internally — was released in 2004. It brought upgrades including refreshed styling, electronic stability control, redesigned wheels, a little more interior room, and a drive-by-wire throttle system.
