By way of a huge Eaton supercharger sitting atop the tried-and-true "Triton" V8, these muscular trucks could go wheel-to-wheel with the "SN-95"-generation Mustang GT down a drag strip and were the fastest production trucks on the market for a time.Power comes from a "Triton" 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine, rated at 360 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this Lightning, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
