2004 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer 4x4, finished in Toreador Red with a Medium Parchment interior. The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes this Excursion cost $45,770 new (about $66,300 in 2021). Factory equipment includes 16-inch wheels, a trailer hitch, fog lights, illuminated running boards, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and rear parking sensors.Modifications reported by the seller include a bull bar, Hella lights, and a Kenwood touchscreen. Some service information appears on the attached Carfax history report. It shows that the engine oil and the engine oil filter were last changed in April 2021 at 179,113 miles.Released for 2000, the Excursion still stands proud as the only series-produced SUV that manages to make a Chevrolet Suburban look a little small-boned. It was based on the F-250 Super Duty pickup, as its front end suggested, so it could comfortably carry eight passengers and their gear while towing a Tahoe to Lake Tahoe. Production ended after the 2005 model year, and the nameplate hasn't been resurrected.Power for this Excursion comes from a 6.8-liter "Triton" V10 engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear or the 4 wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. When new, the V10-powered Excursion offered a maximum towing capacity of 11,000 pounds, according to Ford.
