Highly optioned, this 750iL is equipped with 16-inch wheels, an adaptive and self-leveling suspension system, xenon headlights, heated and power-adjustable rear seats, and a navigation system, among other features. Modifications are limited to tinted windows. The valve cover gaskets, the PCV valves, and the washer fluid pump were replaced at 139,472 miles. Sold from 1995 to 2001, the third-generation 7 Series (called E38 internally) retired as BMW's best-selling flagship sedan to date. Short- and long-wheelbase variants of the E38 were offered, but the V12-powered 750iL was only available in the latter configuration. BMW charged $92,670 for the 750iL in 1998, which represents about $150,600 in 2021. Power comes from a 5.4-liter V12, rated at 322 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
