Finished in Jet Black with a black velour interior. This Mini is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive car. Imported from Japan by the seller in 2018, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster, and its odometer shows about 68,900 kilometers, which represents approximately 42,800 miles.Modifications made to this Mini include 10-inch Minilite wheels, a skid plate, chromed exterior mirrors, an aftermarket steering wheel, and a Panasonic cassette player. It's equipped with manual windows and air conditioning, among other features.First marketed as the Austin Seven and the Morris Mini-Minor, the original Mini made its debut in 1959 as an alternative to the bubble cars that were common on British roads during the 1950s. It was an extremely innovative 4-seater thanks in part to a transversally-mounted engine. Every attempt to replace the Mini was unsuccessful, and the model remained in production with only minor changes until 2000. About 5.4 million were built.Mini launched the Jet Black and the Red Hot models simultaneously in 1988.
