2004 Volvo S60R, finished in Silver Metallic with a Nordkap interior. The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this S60R cost $42,525 new. Factory equipment includes the Touring, Premium, and Climate packages, the Four-C electronically-controlled suspension system, bi-xenon headlights, leather upholstery, and power-adjustable front sport seats.Modifications reported by the seller include an IPD "Stage 2" ECU tune, a Re-Volv downpipe, an IPD exhaust system after the catalytic converter, 19-inch Verde Axis wheels, IPD lowering springs, an IPD turbo boost gauge, and a Kenwood touchscreen. Some of the removed factory parts are included in the sale.Volvo waded into a segment dominated by its German rivals when it released the S60R for 2004. Its engineers used a turbocharged engine, Haldex all-wheel drive, and innovative suspension technology to create what was then the fastest series-produced car ever to wear a Volvo emblem. The S60R stayed true to its Swedish roots with a relatively low-key design.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications could increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. It spins the four wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
