The factory steering wheel is included in the sale.This 928 was last serviced at 128,782 miles in October 2020, when the engine oil, the engine oil filter, the battery, the battery's positive terminal, the distributor cap and rotor, the fuel filter, some of the fuel lines, the brake fluid, and the tires were changed. An invoice is pictured in the gallery.Originally developed to replace the 911, the 928 made its American debut for the 1978 model year. It looked nothing like its intended predecessor, it adopted a completely different engine layout, and Porsche relied on aluminum components to keep weight in check. Horsepower grew on a regular basis during the 1980s while several design updates characterized later models.1987 was the first model year for the "S4" designation of the Porsche 928. Updates for this year included redesigned internals in the V8 engine resulting in more power, updated fuel injection and ignition systems, bigger brakes, revised styling, and more.Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, rated at 320 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The chip might increase those figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transaxle.
