2001 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4, finished in Dorado Gold with an Oak interior. This 4Runner is equipped with a TRD supercharger kit. The list of modifications includes a hood from a Sport Package-equipped model, a Pioneer touchscreen, and a rear-view camera. The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this 4Runner cost $38,738 new. Factory equipment includes the Convenience Package, 16-inch wheels, a locking center differential, running boards, a sunroof with a deflector, leather upholstery, plus heated and power-adjustable front seats.The third-generation Toyota 4Runner launched for 1996 as the popularity of SUVs ballooned across America. It shared its basic proportions with its predecessor but it was new from the ground up and slightly longer. And, while it was nicer and better-suited to family-hauling duties inside, it retained body-on-frame construction and remained exceptionally capable off-road. Production ended in 2002.Power comes from a 3.4-liter supercharged V6, rated at 183 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque when left stock and naturally-aspirated. The supercharger kit likely increases those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the rear or the four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
