2004 Chevrolet SSR, finished in Slingshot Yellow with a black interior. Factory equipment includes 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, a ZQ8 sport suspension system, a limited-slip differential, a hard tonneau cover, a retractable hardtop, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable seats, a memory driver's seat, a 6-disc CD changer, and a Bose audio system.Modifications reported by the seller include a MagnaCharger intercooled supercharger kit, custom-painted stripes and bee graphics, and a trailer hitch.Chevrolet drew inspiration from their postwar "Advance Design" family of trucks when designing the SSR. Though it was based on the GMT360 mid-size truck platform, the SSR was entirely in a class of its own from a stylistic standpoint. Equipped with a folding metal convertible top and V8 power, the SSR was introduced for the 2003 model year and became a standard production model in 2004.Power comes from a 5.3-liter V8 engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque in stock form. According to MagnaCharger, the supercharger adds an additional 120 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
