The full list of modifications is included below.The Cayenne was highly controversial upon its debut in 2003 but proved to be an immediate success, smashing initial sales projections. For the 2008 model year, the Cayenne received a substantial update. The Turbo model's engine displacement increased from 4.5 to 4.8 liters and Porsche's VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and lift was added, resulting in an increase of 50 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque. The factory 0-to-60 time was 4.9 seconds.Power comes from a 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8, rated at 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It spins the four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
