2012 Subaru Impreza WRX Hatchback, finished in Lightning Red with a Carbon Black interior. Compared to the outgoing model, the 3rd-gen WRX was slightly larger, had a longer wheelbase, and added window frames. Despite the increase in size, the car's weight is similar to the previous generation, which contributes to its driving experience. For the 2011 model year, the standard WRX adopted the flared fenders of the STI along with wider wheels and tires, a wider track, new struts and anti-roll bars, and stiffer rear subframe bushings.Power comes from an "EJ255" turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer engine, rated at 265 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
