1999 BMW 540i Sedan, finished in Titanium Silver Metallic with a grey Montana leather interior. This 540i features the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Equipment on this 540i includes the M Sport Package, Xenon headlights, heated front seats, and fine wood interior trim, as well as other standard equipment listed below. This E39 has some modifications including a short shift kit, Turner Motorsports muffler delete, Hella LCI headlights and taillights, a ZHP shift knob, and a clutch delay valve delete. In the United States, BMW introduced the E39-generation 5 Series for the 1997 model year. Available at launch, the V8-powered 540i remained positioned as the quickest and most expensive non-M-badged model until production ended after the 2003 model year.Power comes from the 4.4-liter "M62" V8, which produces 282 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
