A $9,500 option at the time, the Launch Edition featured Designo Silver Metallic paint and 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels that were exclusive to Launch Edition SLs.Power comes from an "M113" 5.0-liter V8 engine, rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
