1996 Porsche 911 Carrera, finished in Iris Blue with a gray interior. The odometer currently indicates approximately 62,300 miles. This 911 is equipped with a sunroof, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and air conditioning, among other features. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a set of 18-inch BBS RS-GT wheels and an Alpine head unit.Launched for 1994, the 993-generation 911 received evolutionary design updates, more powerful engines across the board, and a redesigned rear suspension system. Porsche offered rear- and 4-wheel-drive variants, naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engines, plus coupes, convertible, and Targa models. 1996 brought a 12-horsepower bump, and production of the 993 ended after the 1998 model year. It was the last air-cooled Porsche; its replacement, the 996, was water-cooled.Power comes from a 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-6, rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
