2008 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT, finished in silver with a gray interior. This Ram comes with the desirable 6-Speed manual transmission and a factory exhaust brake. A partial list of factory equipment includes chrome front and rear bumpers, power windows, power locks, extendable powered side mirrors, a cargo light, air conditioning, and cruise control.Modifications are limited to a H&S Mini Maxx tuner for the Cummins turbodiesel engine, an EGR delete kit, a Reese trailer brake, and a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck.The third generation of Dodge Ram debuted in 2001 for the 2002 model year, and the Ram 1500 included an all-new frame, suspension, powertrains, interiors, and sheet metal. The 2500/3500 trucks were introduced in 2003 and thankfully retained their durable live rear axles. The four-wheel drive models featured a solid front axle and recirculating-ball steering setup, and the two-wheel-drive models came equipped with an independent front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. Max towing capacity for the 3500 model was rated at 16,350 pounds.Power comes from a 6.7-liter inline-six Cummins turbodiesel engine, and when equipped with a manual transmission the engine is rated at 350 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque in stock form. H&S Performance states that the Mini Maxx tuner can add 60, 120, or 175 horsepower depending on the selected setting, but a dyno report is not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission with low gear.
