1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, finished in black with a black interior. This Mustang is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Extensively modified, this Mustang is fitted with a Vortech supercharger, forged pistons and connecting rods, a Stewart high-performance water pump, a Mishimoto radiator, and a Walbro high-pressure fuel pump, among other aftermarket drivetrain parts. Receipts detailing most of the modifications performed on this car are pictured in the gallery. Other modifications reported by the seller include aftermarket exterior lighting, tinted windows, carbon fiber-look interior trim, a Hurst shift knob, a Florida 5.0 instrument cluster, and a Kenwood touchscreen. Some of the removed factory parts (including the lights and the instrument cluster) are shown in the gallery and included in the sale.Introduced for 1994, the "SN95" generation of the emblematic Mustang replaced the long-running Fox-based model with a more modern design that incorporated a handful of styling cues borrowed from the original car. It offered enthusiasts better handling, a revised interior, and a wide range of V6 and V8 engines. 1996 brought a hand-assembled 4.6-liter "Modular" V8 to the Cobra model, and production ended in 2004.Power comes from a 4.6-liter V8, rated at 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when left stock and naturally-aspirated. The modifications likely increase those figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
