2008 Dodge Magnum Police Patrol Vehicle, finished in Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl with a Slate Gray interior. This Magnum comes equipped with the Customer Preferred Package 29A which includes 18-inch steel wheels; upgraded brakes, steering, and suspension; load leveling and height control; a spot lamp; a 160-amp alternator; a 160-mph speedometer; and more as detailed below. Additional factory equipment includes a dual rear exhaust, rear spoiler, "Hemi Interceptor" badging, power-adjustable side mirrors, 8-way power driver's seat, air conditioning, and more as detailed below.Modifications to this Magnum are limited to a civilian center console unit, an aftermarket Kenwood Bluetooth head unit with Apple CarPlay, and having the light bar mounting holes filled.Based on the Magnum SRT-8 concept from 2003, the Dodge Magnum arrived for the 2005 model year packing a dominating road presence, available V8 power, and SUV-rivaling cargo capacity. Riding on the rear-drive LX platform, Dodge's long roof bruiser was available for four years, ending production after 2008.When the LX platform debuted, both Dodge Chargers and Dodge Magnums were tested by various law enforcement agencies. The Charger quickly won out as the police patrol vehicle of choice, making official police-use Magnums especially hard to find.Power comes from a 5.7-liter "Hemi" V8 engine, rated at 340 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
