2021 Chevrolet Corvette, finished in Rapid Blue with a black interior. This Corvette is equipped with the desirable Z51 Performance Package, which adds Brembo brakes, a sportier suspension system, a shorter final drive ratio, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a dual-mode exhaust system, among other equipment. This Corvette is a well-equipped 3LT model. Factory equipment includes 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, LED headlights, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable seats, a 14-speaker sound system, and a head-up display. Released for 2020, the eighth-generation Corvette switched to a mid-mounted engine, a configuration which represented the most drastic change in the nameplate's decades-long history. Placing the V8 behind the passenger compartment allowed designers to completely reinvent the Corvette's proportions, while engineers took advantage of the rear-biased weight distribution to dial in sharper handling. The "C8" remains in production as of 2021.Power comes from a 6.2-liter "LT2" V8, which produces 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
