2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, finished in Performance White with a Charcoal Black and red interior. This GT500 is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Factory equipment includes the SVT Performance Package (3.73-ratio limited-slip rear axle, rear decklid spoiler, tape stripe delete, top stripe delete, 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels), the Electronics Package (HD radio compatibility and navigation system), an aluminum hood, a Shelby front facia, a two-tone interior, and more as detailed below.Modifications to this GT500 are extensive, and the full list is detailed below. include a 2.5-mm supercharger pulley, dual fans, oil separators, a Borla S-Type cat-back exhaust, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, a McLeod clutch and aluminum flywheel, and Koni suspension.Called "S197" internally, the 5th-generation Mustang launched for 2005 with a heritage-laced design, a new platform, and an available 24-valve V8 engine. Extending the wheelbase gave the Mustang a much more compliant ride than its predecessor. 2010 brought a thorough mid-cycle update that applied to all variants (including the mighty GT500), and production ended in 2014.Power for this GT500 comes from a 5.4-liter supercharged V8, rated at 550 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications increase those figures to 578 horsepower and 569 lb-ft of torque at 12.7 lbs of boost at the rear wheels, according to a dyno sheet pictured in the gallery. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
