1993 Subaru Sambar, finished in white with a gray interior.This Sambar is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive trucks. Imported from Japan in 2019, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster, and its odometer shows about 144,700 kilometers, which represents approximately 89,900 miles. Modifications made to this Sambar include a turbocharger that replaces the factory-fitted supercharger, a custom-made stainless-steel exhaust system, 15-inch wheels, a 2-inch suspension lift, a 2-inch body lift, 1.5-inch front and 3-inch rear fender flares, and a boost gauge integrated into the instrument cluster. Built to Japan's Kei specifications, it was offered in a wide selection of configurations including cargo- and people-carrying vans and a pickup; some were even turned into campers. Production ended in 1999.Power comes from a turbocharged 658cc 4-cylinder engine, rated at 63 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque, according to a dyno sheet shown in the gallery. Rear-mounted, it spins the rear or all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission with a crawler gear.
