Factory equipment on this Range Rover includes 18-inch allyo wheels, headlight wipers, a power sunroof, leather upholstery, wood interior trim, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a CD changer, and more as detailed below.Modifications to this Range Rover are limited to the suspension, namely by replacing the electronic air suspension with a conventional coil spring suspension system and Bilstein shocks.Land Rover introduced the first new Range Rover in nearly a quarter of a century for the 1996 model year. 25 years of progress made the second-generation Range Rover, which was called P38 internally, markedly more refined on the road than its predecessor, but the extra dose of comfort didn't come at the expense of off-road prowess. It remained one of the most capable factory-built off-roaders in spite of its upmarket ambitions. Production ended in 2001.Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8, rated at 190 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
