The swap also included the installation of a VF49 twinscroll turbocharger, Tomoika racing downpipe, Invidia Q300 cat-back exhaust system, Cobb SF Intake, DeatschWerks DW65c fuel pump, and Mishimoto high performance radiator. Additionally, the OEM suspension was replaced with a new JDM STI suspension setup. It featured a larger displacement turbocharged engine, a wider track with flared fenders, aluminum suspension components, Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive) with intelligent, sport, and sport sharp modes, a multi-mode Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), a Brembo brake system, and forged alloy wheels. Production ended in 2014, and Subaru hasn't released another STI hatch since.Power comes from an "EJ207" 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-4, which according to an included dyno report produces 314 wheel horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and symmetrical all-wheel-drive system.
